Terms and Conditions
1. Nature of the service
Refugio X is a turn-based strategy game. By creating an account and playing, you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the application.
2. User account
You need an account with a valid email address to save games and take part in the global ranking. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for the activity carried out with your account.
3. Games and ranking
Your game progress is saved automatically on our servers. Results published in the global ranking (name, chosen shelter, days survived and final outcome) are public and visible to other players.
4. Player conduct
The following is not allowed: using offensive names in the ranking, tampering with the client to alter results, automating gameplay (bots, macros), or attempting to access other players' data or internal systems.
5. Intellectual property
The game's design, mechanics, texts and images belong to their creators. Commercial reproduction without authorization is prohibited.
6. Availability and changes
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service. We may update mechanics, balancing and these terms; relevant changes will be announced in the application.
7. Limitation of liability
The game is offered "as is", with no warranties. We are not liable for lost progress, service interruptions or damages arising from use of the application.
8. Account suspension
We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior notice depending on severity.
Privacy Policy
What data do we collect?
- Account data: email address and name (the one you use when saving your score).
- Game data: the state of your games (shelter, resources, residents, upgrades, turn).
- Ranking: player name, chosen shelter, max level, outcome, days survived and final stats.
- Technical data: minimal service usage records needed for its operation and security.
What do we NOT collect?
We do not ask for sensitive data (real health, religion, ideology, etc.) or payment data: the game is completely free.
Legal basis and purpose
We process your data solely to: provide the service (saving games), run the global ranking, authenticate your session, send you account-related operational emails (verification, password reset) and improve game balance through aggregated, anonymous statistics.
Data Use
We don't sell or rent your personal data. It is only shared with technical providers (hosting, authentication, email) to the extent needed to operate the service.
Your data resides on the platform provider's servers with industry-standard security measures (encryption in transit, access control).
The game includes no personalized advertising and no third-party trackers for commercial purposes.
We keep your games and ranking records for as long as your account exists. If the account is deleted, the associated data is permanently removed.
Your Rights
- Access and rectification: you can view and correct your data from your account.
- Deletion: you can request deletion of your account and your game and ranking data by writing to the game team.
- Portability: you can request a copy of your data in a readable format.
- Minors: the game is aimed at a general audience; minors must have authorization from a responsible adult.
